Feeling Old

It's hard to see this picture because I was lurking in the background, trying to remain unseen. But this is my baby's first job interview! She went to a job fair to try and get employed at the local theme park. Unfortunately they already filled all the positions they had for the fourteen year olds, but asked her back for a second interview for the water park. Let me tell you, she was a pile of nerves. We spent the ride up preparing hypothetical questions that they might ask so she was prepared. He asked some of them too, so that helped. It also helped that her interviewers name was Sparky and very laid back.

I feel sooooooo old. In fact, the personnel at the theme park couldn't believe I was even old enough to be having a teenager seeking employment. Tell me about it! I took her out for ice cream after in celebration of her first job interview. We then went to my mom's, who has going through stuff in her spare room. I found some picture's of Samantha when she was only a couple months old, and now she's trying to get a job. I felt like crying like a big baby. I am not old enough for this, am I? Was it not just yesterday I was having my first interview?
